First week in Chicago

Hello everybody!
Harold Washington Library
The last week went to visit the Harold Washington Library. It was surprising. What little I could see, I  shocked.  While read the written on the wall, I found a script Mario Vargas Llosa, Peruvian Writer and Nobel Prize in Literature.  I was proud to see and read in this library.
The sentence read:

"If you are killed because you are a writer, that's the maximum expression of respect, you know."

Mario Vargas Llosa

What about the food?
Really, I miss the food of my country, for two reasons: First it's very delicious and second the Peru's food is cheapest that Chicago's food. Two great aspects to consider.

About the weather? ....  It's pretty cold. First time I feel this.

But, nevertheless seeing things that I have not seen in my city, is wonderful.
I realize that we should not be conformist and continue to grow and develop us.
Why? Because it is America.
